The weather was threatening after several days of rain and wind, but the rain mostly held off and the wind was intermittent. The recent rain left things a bit muddy. The heavy cloud cover made the woods fairly dark for most of the day and made it challenging to see a few of the targets.
Thank you to everyone who came out to make this a fun day. We had 24 shooters.
Thank you as always to those who helped to setup and tear down the course and the sight in range, and to our Marshalls for the day, Ted, Bob, and Jeff. Special thanks to Tony, Lanny, and Dennis who keep the course trimmed and ready for matches.
In terms of results, Richard improved on last month and only left 1 target standing in the Modified Division. Ashley We and Rob G tied for 2nd spot with 55/60.
In Hunter Division, Mike P made his Port Colborne debut for the season and recaptured his spot at the top of the list, Tom was just 2 points behind. Kevin is loving the new gun and the switch to the PCP team (thanks to Dave for getting him set up (and not letting him near the new gun with those rusty wrenches!)).
Marc brought his TX200 out of retirement and showed that he still knows how to shoot a springer.
In Open Division, Ted turned in another solid match.
The WFTF Division had a larger turnout than usual with John C coming out on top.
Thank you to the Port Colborne club and members for making the range and facilities available.
