Although I have loved shooting air rifles from childhood, I never ever thought I would shoot a world field target championship match.
Where it Started – my Dad finally relented and got me an air rifle the Christmas I turned 12. Well I never stopped shoot and still going strong now at 62 . One worlds down and another one on the horizon.
As adult I shot in isolation. Due to work, family life and living in a new province. Felt bit funny sometimes. Wondered if anyone loved air rifles like I did.
Turns out a bunch of great people do! and, I have become part of a friendly welcoming community. That just loves air rifles as much as I do. So glad I found them!
I made so many good friends, learned more than I ever knew existed about air rifles. Thank you for welcoming me into the community and teaching me so much. I will always be grateful that I found our community. I appreciate each and every one of you.
